About the Family: A loving family in Polson, MT, is seeking a detail-oriented, organized and experienced nanny to care for their 5-month-old daughter. They live in a remote area on a beautiful lake, about 20 minutes from the nearest town. The family is open to being creative with the right candidate to ensure a mutually beneficial opportunity. Both parents work in the home. Flexible living arrangements available: The family is able to provide a nanny with separate living accommodations in a fully furnished, 2BR, 1BA, full kitchen cabin on the family’s lake front property. Willing to consider full-time occupancy for a slightly reduced hourly rate. Will consider part-time occupancy during work week for someone who lives too far to commute each day. Will consider pets and spouses. Responsibilities: * Provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for a 5-month old girl * Assist with laundry (1-2 loads/day, mainly baby clothes) * Run and unload the dishwasher approx. once a day * Tidy up after the baby * Clean and sanitize baby areas * Prepare age appropriate enriching activities * Help with preparing and transitioning to solid foods * Maintain a consistent schedule and routine for the baby * Maintain open and proactive communication with parents about daily activities, milestones, and any concerns * Log and track detailed sleep schedule using mobile application and support sleep schedule transitions * Occasional baby related projects Qualifications: * Minimum 2 years of experience with newborns and infants * Comfortable with cloth diapers * CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it * Tdap vaccination required or willingness to obtain it * Must enjoy nature and be comfortable in a remote setting * Type-A personality, organized, and capable of maintaining the baby’s schedule * Non-smoker * Comfortable with wild life (bears and mountain lions have been seen on property) Additional Information: * Flexible schedule, approximately 32 hours per week * Optional live-in arrangement in a separate, fully furnished cabin on the property * Post grad, Graduate school students or those able to attend remotely are encouraged to apply * Pay negotiable based on experience and living situation * 1 small Boston Terrier in the home * Possibility to travel to Arizona with family for extended period * PTO/sick days/over-time pay * Home gym available for use Rate: varies dependent on living situation
